Dhow – A photographer’s journey. Beat Presser and Danit take the audience on a journey whose roots go back thousands of years, when the sailing ship was still the ultimate means of transport.
It is also an odyssey, a journey of photographer Beat Presser and his love of seafaring. From the construction of ships, the sailors on Jibondo, Somali pirates, as well as a critical look at the rapidly changing Dhow culture along the East African coast.
